An official university email account is automatically created for every student. Official academic announcements will be sent to this address; please check your email inbox regularly.

- firstname.lastname@baun.edu.tr (If the same email address was previously assigned to another user, a number is added to the end: firstname.lastname2@baun.edu.tr)
- Emails sent to yourstudentnumber@baun.edu.tr will also be delivered to the same inbox.

Setting or Resetting Your Password On the Student Password Service (Öğrenci Parola Servisi), enter your email address or student number, input the verification code sent to your mobile phone, and set your new password.
Important: Never share your password with anyone. Our university will never ask for your password via email, phone call, or SMS.
If Your Phone Number Is Not Registered or Has Changed Please contact the student affairs office of your faculty/vocational school to update your mobile phone number in the Student Information System (OBS). The new phone number will take up to one week to reflect in the Password Service. International phone numbers cannot be used in the Password Service. In such cases, or if you are unable to log in, please contact the Department of Information Technology at bidb@balikesir.edu.tr.
Graduation and Departure Your account will be closed once your graduation or enrollment cancellation is processed in the Student Information System (OBS). Please back up any emails you may need in advance.
