Page Path for Government Incentive Payment for Intern Wages
/IN THIS SECTION
Within the scope of the procedures and principles regarding the payment of a part of the wages of students undergoing Vocational Training in enterprises according to the Vocational Education Law No. 3308 from the unemployment insurance fund, enterprises that employ students who are interning and receiving a wage will be paid a state contribution of:
"two-thirds of 30% of the net minimum wage if the enterprise employs less than twenty personnel"
"one-third of 30% of the net minimum wage if the enterprise employs twenty or more personnel."
The paid wage cannot be less than 30% of the net minimum wage.
State incentives are not provided to public institutions and organizations. If a payment is made [by the public institution to the student], no state incentive payment will be made.
If the student does not receive a wage from the enterprise, no state incentive payment is made.
HOW TO APPLY?
The bank receipt (supporting document) showing that the student's wage for the Workplace Application Training has been deposited into their account must be submitted to the Student Affairs Office by hand, by mail, or via email to edremit@balikesir.edu.tr by the 4th of every month. Payment will not be made to workplaces that do not send the receipt.
Do not take a photo of the receipt with your mobile phone and send it. Please scan it with a scanner and send it. (There are issues when printing the document.)
DEPOSIT OF STATE INCENTIVES TO WORKPLACE/COMPANY/INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNTS
Applications received until the 4th of every month are collected and compiled into a list. This list is sent to the Head of the Health, Culture, and Sports Department of our University on the 5th of every month.
If there are sufficient funds in the account designated for incentives, the incentive amounts are deposited into the IBAN numbers specified by the individuals and companies.
Incentive amounts are paid, even with a delay of 3-5 months, provided there are no errors in the IBAN number and IBAN owner information.
WAGE TO BE PAID TO THE STUDENT AND INCENTIVE AMOUNT:
Minimum Wage 2026 (January): 28,075.50 TL
Wage to be Paid to the Student: (for 30 days worked) 8,422.65 TL
To Enterprises:
Enterprises employing less than 20 personnel (for 30 days worked by the intern): 5,615.10 TL
Enterprises employing 20 or more personnel (for 30 days worked by the intern): 2,807.55 TL
will be paid as a state incentive.
