As Balıkesir University Edremit Vocational

firsthand, and enhancing their employment opportunities after graduation. These

Today, academic success alone is no longer
considered sufficient in evaluating students’ overall development; social

great importance. In this context, the Social Transcript system
implemented at Balıkesir University records students’ participation in social,
cultural, artistic, sporting, scientific, career development, and voluntary
activities carried out outside the curriculum, and officially documents these
achievements. The Social Transcript serves as an important tool that makes
visible students’ multifaceted development and social responsibility awareness
acquired throughout their educational journey. Our vocational school aims to
educate individuals who are not only academically competent but also socially
engaged, responsible, and sensitive to societal needs.
In today’s world, where digital transformation,
sustainability, and environmental awareness have become increasingly prominent,
we continuously update our curricula in line with contemporary requirements,
preparing our students to become innovative, productive, and responsible
