Soil Preparation Begins for the Establishment of the Lavender Garden at Our Vocational School
Soil preparation has officially commenced as part of the lavender garden project planned for our vocational school campus. Within this scope, the soil is being plowed and cultivated with the help of a tractor (aeration and pre-planting preparation) to create the ideal foundation for lavender cultivation. In the coming weeks, once the lavender seedlings are planted, the garden will be a permanent addition to our school.
We would like to extend our gratitude to Mr. Taner AKINCI, Director of Agricultural Services at Edremit Municipality, and Mr. Nazım TANRIKULU, Branch Manager of BAÇEM (Burhaniye Farmer Training Center), for their contributions and support regarding the maintenance of the garden and the provision of lavender seedlings, ensuring the project's sustainability.
This project aims to add both aesthetic and environmental value to our campus while strengthening hands-on educational opportunities for our students.
