Meaningful Volunteering Activity with Kızılay by Edremit Vocational School Students

Students from the Construction Technology Program of Balıkesir University Edremit Vocational School participated in a meaningful social responsibility event in cooperation with Kızılay, within the scope of the "Volunteering Course" conducted under the mentorship of Lecturer Dr. Sibel Girginkardeşler.

During the event held at Edremit Cumhuriyet Square, our students took on roles as Kızılay volunteers and supported activities such as distributing ashura (Noah's pudding), organizing blood donation campaigns, and measuring body mass index (BMI) for citizens. Taking an active role in these community-benefiting activities, our students had the opportunity to both reinforce their volunteer awareness and contribute to social responsibility efforts.

Thanks to this event, while experiencing the importance of social solidarity firsthand, our students also supported social awareness efforts by directly communicating with the public.

As Edremit Vocational School, we would like to thank the Kızılay officials for contributing to the development of our students with a sense of social responsibility, volunteerism, and community service.
