Information Presentation on MEDEK Accreditation Processes Held at Edremit Vocational School
An informational presentation regarding the Vocational Education Evaluation and Accreditation Association (MEDEK) accreditation processes was held for the academic staff of Edremit Vocational School. During the presentation delivered by the Director of the Vocational School, Prof. Dr. Selami Selvi, the purpose and scope of MEDEK accreditation, as well as its significance for quality assurance in higher education, were discussed in detail.
Within the scope of the presentation, comprehensive information was shared regarding the stages of the program accreditation process, the evidence-based approach, the continuous improvement cycle (PDCA), and the roles and responsibilities of academic staff in the process. Furthermore, the contributions of accreditation to enhancing the quality of education, strengthening graduate competencies, and fostering institutional development were emphasized.
The meeting concluded with an evaluation and an exchange of ideas following the questions and feedback from the faculty members. The MEDEK accreditation activities carried out at Edremit Vocational School aim to significantly contribute to strengthening the quality-oriented education approach and establishing a culture of sustainable improvement.
