Cooperation with Edremit Municipality and Accreditation Processes Were Evaluated
A meeting was held regarding the ongoing activities, inter-institutional collaboration opportunities, and accreditation processes of Edremit Vocational School, with the participation of Mayor of Edremit Mehmet ERTAŞ and Municipal Council Members Emre ATAY and Deniz SARITAŞ.
During the meeting, ideas were exchanged concerning the educational and instructional activities of Edremit Vocational School, initiatives aimed at supporting students' professional and social development, and potential joint projects and partnerships between the Vocational School and Edremit Municipality.
Furthermore, evaluations were conducted and mutual views were shared on the accreditation efforts and quality assurance processes carried out at our Vocational School, as well as the contributions of external stakeholders within this context.
The discussions also addressed strengthening university-local government collaboration, supporting students' more active participation in civic life and social activities, expanding vocational practical training opportunities, and undertaking joint efforts tailored to regional needs.
It was expressed that the meeting would contribute to enhancing cooperation and increasing joint initiatives between Edremit Vocational School and Edremit Municipality.
