Biodiversity Presentation Held at Edremit Vocational School within the Scope of GreenMetric Sustainability Initiatives
In line with the university's sustainability goals and GreenMetric sustainability studies, a presentation titled "Biodiversity" was held at our school. The event, organized at the Edremit Vocational School Conference Hall, featured Ebru Tunçel, the Edremit Representative of the TEMA Foundation, as the keynote speaker.
The presentation addressed the importance of preserving biodiversity, the sustainability of ecosystems, and the transfer of natural resources to future generations. Ebru Tunçel provided comprehensive information on the significance of nature conservation efforts, emphasizing the critical role of biodiversity in maintaining environmental balance. The event, attended by academic staff and students, drew attention to increasing environmental awareness and promoting a sustainable lifestyle.
Following the presentation, a Q&A session was held where participants' questions were answered and ideas were exchanged. At the end of the program, Prof. Dr. Selami Selvi, Director of Edremit Vocational School, presented a certificate of appreciation to Ebru Tunçel for her valuable contributions.
The management of Edremit Vocational School stated that academic and social activities aimed at raising environmental awareness will continue in the coming period, in accordance with the GreenMetric sustainability targets.
