A Meaningful Visit from the Youth: Respecting Our Roots with the Healing Power of Olives

Students of the Olive Cultivation and Olive Processing Technology Program at Edremit Vocational School (MYO) demonstrated a beautiful example of social solidarity and loyalty as part of their "Volunteering Studies" course. Accompanied by their advisor, Lecturer Nuray Unat, the students visited the Edremit Nefes Nursing and Elderly Care Home to spend time with the elderly residents. Setting out with the motto "Bringing the healing power of olives to our roots," the students presented their self-produced olive oils—where they turned their theoretical education into practice—to their elders, who enlighten the youth with their life experiences.
