A Cooperation Protocol Was Signed Between Edremit Vocational School (MYO) and Edremit District Directorate of National Education Within the Scope of TÜBİTAK 4009

A cooperation protocol regarding scientific activities has been signed between Edremit Vocational School (MYO) and Edremit District Directorate of National Education. The protocol covers the project titled “Science from 7 to 70 in the Shade of My Immortal Tree,” which was prepared under the TÜBİTAK 4009 Support Program for Village Schools.

Under the signed protocol, should the project be approved and supported by TÜBİTAK, the academic staff of Edremit Vocational School will provide scientific support to the project. The protocol was signed by Prof. Dr. Selami Selvi, Director of Edremit Vocational School, and Özay Nuri Aksoy, Director of Edremit Science and Art Center (BİLSEM).

The signing ceremony was also attended by Edremit MYO Assistant Directors Lect. Mehmet Algil and Lect. Nuray Unat, School Secretary Ferhat Gündüz, and Edremit BİLSEM Science Teacher Ahmet Alkaya.

The cooperation protocol aims to introduce students in village schools to scientific activities, increase the participation of different age groups in scientific endeavors, and enhance scientific awareness.
