Make-up Exams (For those unable to attend midterms in the spring semester due to a valid excuse)
In the Spring Semester of the 2025–2026 Academic Year;
In accordance with Article 24 of the BAUN Associate and Undergraduate Education-Training and Examination Regulations, Excuse Exams will be held between May 04 and May 08, 2026, during regular class hours. These exams are for students who were unable to attend the midterms due to excuses deemed valid by the Vocational School Administrative Board.
The list of students eligible to take the excuse exams will be announced on our website. Please follow the announcements on our web page.
Application Procedure
Students requesting the right to take an excuse exam must personally submit the Excuse Exam Application Form (accompanied by supporting documentation) to the Vocational School Student Affairs Office no later than the end of business hours on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.
Applications submitted without a completed application form or without supporting documentation proving the excuse will not be considered.

Excerpt from Article 24-(1) titled "Excuse, Makeup, and Single Course Exams":
Excuse exams are conducted by the decision of the relevant administrative board for students who cannot participate in midterms and other assessment activities due to justifiable and valid reasons (health issues, natural disasters, bereavement, severe illness of relatives, exam schedule conflicts for double-major students, and other matters considered by the relevant board).
For an excuse to be accepted, an application must be submitted to the relevant deanery/directorate with documents proving the justifiable and valid reasons within one week following the end of the specified exam calendar.
No further excuse exams will be held for students who, for any reason, are unable to attend the excuse exams on the determined dates.
