Forum on Contemporary Approaches in Vocational Education

“Forum on Contemporary Approaches in Vocational Education” will be held, hosted by Balıkesir University, under the coordination of the Technology Transfer Office and Balıkesir Vocational School, in partnership with the Thrace Universities Union, Balıkesir Organized Industrial Zone (OSB), Balıkesir Chamber of Industry, Balıkesir Chamber of Commerce, and Balıkesir Commodity Exchange.

📍 Venue: BAÜN Atatürk Congress and Culture Center

Within the scope of the forum, workshops and panels will be conducted under the following themes:

Digital transformation in vocational education
Entrepreneurship and sustainability
University–industry/sector cooperation

Additionally, throughout the day, there will be exhibitions of best practices and projects, along with booths from industrial and sectoral companies.

As part of the opening ceremony, Mr. Osman Boyraz, Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Türkiye, will deliver a keynote speech titled “Transportation Vision in the Century of Türkiye.”
