Call for Student Representative: Balıkesir University Quality Commission
In order to increase student participation in quality assurance processes and to ensure the dissemination of a quality culture at our university, student representative elections for the Balıkesir University Quality Commission will be held. Students wishing to serve as the Quality Commission Student Representative must fulfill the requirements stipulated in the Balıkesir University Quality Assurance, Quality Commission, and Quality Coordinatorship Directive, approved at the meeting dated 19.12.2023 and numbered 2023/33:
Being an actively enrolled student in associate, undergraduate, or graduate programs of the University,
Being a second-year student in two-year programs; a second or third-year student in four-year undergraduate programs; a second, third, fourth, or fifth-year student in six-year programs; or being in the course stage for graduate students,
Not having suspended registration in the relevant semester,
Having a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.50 or above out of 4.00,
Having no criminal record,
Having no affiliation, connection, or link with terrorist organizations,
Having no prior disciplinary action.
Application Process: Applications will be accepted between April 2 and April 15, 2026 (until 16:00 on April 15, 2026) via the Quality Commission Student Representative Application Form. Candidates may submit their application forms and required documents via email to kalite@balikesir.edu.tr or in person to the Quality Coordinatorship.
Applications that do not meet the requirements or have missing documents will not be considered.
Evaluation: Applications will be evaluated by the Quality Commission and finalized by the University Senate.
