Attention to Students Who Will Take the Single-Course Exam
Students who have fulfilled the attendance and practical application requirements for all courses, excluding internships, but have failed only one remaining course for graduation, are granted the right to take a "Single-Course Exam" for that specific course. Additionally, students who have passed all their courses but fail to achieve the required Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.00 for graduation may be granted a Single-Course Exam right for a course of their choice, provided that the grade obtained from this exam has the potential to raise their CGPA to at least 2.00. Single-Course Exams are held on the dates specified in the academic calendar. To be successful in the Single-Course Exam, a minimum grade of DD is required. Midterm exam scores are not taken into account when determining this letter grade.
Single-Course Exams will be held face-to-face on July 20, 2026, in the classrooms and at the times announced on our website.
Applications for the Single-Course Exam must be submitted on July 16, 2026. (You may also submit your petition to the school prior to July 16, 2026).
Students wishing to apply for the Single-Course Exam must submit a signed petition by July 16, 2026, at 17:00. (Applications reaching the Directorate after 17:00 on July 16, 2026, will not be accepted).
Students can send their signed petitions via email to edremit@balikesir.edu.tr or deliver them in person to the Student Affairs Office. (You may also submit your petition to the school prior to July 16, 2026).
