Attention: Students Taking the Single-Course Exam
Pursuant to Article 24, Paragraph 5 of the Balıkesir University Education, Training, and Examination Regulations:
Students who have fulfilled the attendance and practical application requirements for all courses (excluding internships) but have failed only one course are entitled to take a Single-Course Exam for that specific course. Additionally, students who have passed all courses but have not met the required GPA of 2.00 for graduation may be granted a single-course exam for a course of their choice, provided that the grade obtained could potentially raise their GPA to at least 2.00. Single-course exams are held on the dates specified in the academic calendar. To pass the single-course exam, a minimum grade of DD is required. Midterm scores are not taken into account when determining this grade.
Exam Date: Single-Course Exams will be held face-to-face on February 13, 2026, at the times and in the classrooms announced on our website.
Application Date: Applications for the Single-Course Exam must be submitted by February 11, 2026. (Petitions may also be submitted to the school prior to February 11, 2026.)
Deadline: Students wishing to apply must submit a signed petition by 5:00 PM on February 11, 2026. (Applications reaching the Directorate after this time will not be accepted.)
Submission: Students may send their signed petitions to edremit@balikesir.edu.tr via email or deliver them in person to the Student Affairs Office.
