Attention All Students Taking the Single-Course Examination

According to Article 19, Paragraph 3 of the Balıkesir University Associate and Undergraduate Education-Training and Examination Regulation:

Students who have fulfilled the attendance and practical requirements for all courses required for graduation (excluding internships) and have received an "FF" grade in only one course, or students who have passed all courses but have not met the minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.00 required for graduation, are granted the right to take a single-course exam for a course of their choice on the dates specified in the academic calendar, provided that the grade obtained from this exam enables them to raise their CGPA to at least 2.00. To pass the single-course exam, a student must receive a minimum letter grade of "DD". Midterm exam grades are not taken into account when determining this letter grade.

• Exam Date: Single-course exams will be held face-to-face on September 22, 2026, at the times and in the classrooms announced on our website.

• Application Date: Applications for the single-course exam must be submitted by September 18, 2026. (You may also submit your petition to the school prior to September 18, 2026.)

• Deadline: Students who wish to apply for the single-course exam must submit a signed petition by 17:00 on September 18, 2026. (Applications reaching our Directorate after 17:00 on September 18, 2026, will not be accepted.)

• Submission Methods: Students may send their petitions via email to edremit@balikesir.edu.tr or hand-deliver them in person to the Student Affairs Office. (Petitions can be submitted prior to September 18, 2026.)
