Announcement Regarding Excused Course Registration Applications for the Fall Semester of 2026-2027

CHAPTER TWO Registration, Registration Procedures, and Course Enrollment

Registration renewal and course enrollment ARTICLE 6- (2) A student who fails to complete the registration renewal process within the course registration period specified in the academic calendar must complete it together with their advisor no later than the add-drop period specified in the academic calendar. However, if the student submits an application with a petition stating a valid excuse within one week after the end of the add-drop period and the excuse is accepted by the relevant administrative board, the student is granted the right to pay the tuition fee/student contribution and/or complete course registration. A student who does not renew registration according to this procedure is deemed to have not renewed registration for that semester and cannot benefit from student rights. This period counts toward the maximum duration of education.

In accordance with the relevant regulation provision, students applying for Excused Course Registration for the 2026-2027 Fall Semester may fill out the Excused Course Registration Renewal Request Form and send it to edremit@balikesir.edu.tr by the end of the business day on 24.09.2026, or hand-deliver it to the Student Affairs Unit in person.
